Gods, Devas, the Divine: Appearing to Men from the skies in vessels of fire?

From multiple sources....I bring to you readers a small collection of information and photographs, which touch on a controversial subject for most people. The most important aspect of this topic is not necessarily the possibility of extraterrestrials or anything of that nature indefinitely, but more so (to me at least) the possibility of advanced civilizations in human-kinds' distant past. For example, just because there are quite a few primitave civilizations on the planet, does not mean that the two couldn't have coexisted -same era, on the same planet! Look at our world today, you have the big ol' Western civilizations, then compare that to the many more "primative" third-world type of places across the globe. I bet you most of those folks would take one look at our technology and think that something like say your fancy iPhone was a 'magic oricle scroll sent from the gods'...
Anywho! If archaeological and historical evidence show us something like this, we can't just shrug off the opportunity to better understand and learn our past (I mean then we might be able to see where the future is headed...). This post is merely a means to evaluate bits of this evidence and allow readers to establish their own opinions/theories... Besides! At the very least you can be entertained!

It is important to note three ancient Hindu text scriptures, the Bhagavata-Purana, Mahabharata and Ramayana Scriptures. These scriptures date back to at least 3000 B.C. and are among some of the oldest writings currently known to man.

They speak extensively about flying machines called Vimanas that flew not only the skies, but to the stars as well. India's Vedic writings speak of gods, (they called Devas) from other star systems. They tell of how the human soul is nonphysical and how our sentient energy goes through a succession of physical bodies, as only the physical body dies.

The Mayans believed their predecessors came from the Pleiades. The Mayan Indians of Central America knew the earth was round centuries before the Europeans made this discovery. The Popol Vuh states that several gods, including Hunahpu, Xbalanque, and the great god-king Quetzalcoatl, returned to the stars after their earth life ended.

In India, it was and still is believed that man descended from gods who flew fiery crafts.

Early Chinese texts tell of long-lived rulers from the heavens who flew in "fire-breathing dragons".

In Tibet there is a book called the Kantyua, which means "the translated word of Buddha". It tells of flying "pearls in the sky" and of transparent spheres carrying gods to visit man. Here to, the belief is of being reborn time and time again and not just to earth. The Royal Pedigrees of Tibetan Kings dates back to the seventh century. It states that the first seven Tibetan kings came from the stars, and goes on to say that they eventually returned to the stars.

Ancient Egyptian legends tell of Tep Zepi, or the First Time. This is described as an age when "sky gods" came down to Earth and raised the land from mud and water. They supposedly flew through the air in flying "boats" and brought laws and wisdom to man through a royal line of pharaohs.

(Left image) This is an old Chinese illustration from a fictional book entitled "Illustrated Survey of Weird Countries" (c.1400 A.D.) and had the following original caption: "Ji Gung Land: The people could make flying cars that travelled far with a suitable wind. In Tarng's day (c.1700 B.C.), Ji Gung people flying a car on a westerley reached Yew Jo. Tarng dismantled their car so it could not be demonstrated to the people ... Later an east wind came on which he had them fly the car back to their own country [5,000 km] west of our gateway.

These images of crusaders date from a 12th century manuscript " Annales Laurissenses" (volumes/books about historical and religion events)and refer to a UFO sighting in the year 776, during the siege on Sigiburg castle, France. The Saxons besieged and surrounded the French people. They both were fighting when suddenly a group of discs (flaming shields) appeared hovering over the top of the church. It appeared to the Saxons that the French were protected by these objects and the Saxons fled.

The image above comes from the 10th Century Tibetan translation of the Sanskrit text "Prajnaparamita Sutra", held at a Japanese museum (full picture below).

In the enlargement you can see two objects that look like hats, but why are they floating in mid air ? also one of them appears to have port holes on it. Indian Vedic texts are full of descriptions of Vimanas. The Ramayana describes Vimanas as a double decked, circular or cylindrical aircraft with portholes and a dome. It flew with "the speed of the wind" and gave forth a "melodious sound".
The next picture (left) shows a fresco entitled "The Crucifixion" and was painted in 1350. Two objects with figures inside can be seen in the top left and top right of the fresco. Two enlargements of these objects are shown above. The fresco is located above the altar at the Visoki Decani Monestary in Kosovo, Yugoslavia.
Below are some closer images

The following two tapestries were created in the 15th century. Both depict the life of Mary. Hat shaped objects can be clearly seen in both tapestries. The one on the right is entitled "The Magnificat". Both are located at the french basillica Notre-Dame in Beaune, Burgandy.

The painting below is by Carlo Crivelli (1430-1495) and is called "The Annunciation" (1486) and hangs in the National Gallery, London.
